LOCATION
The International Conference on Methods of Aerophysical Research (ICMAR 2004) is to be held on June 28- July 4, 2004 in Akademgorodok near Novosibirsk, Russia.
The conference location at the House of Scientists is within a ten minutes from the hotel Zolotaya Dolina (Golden Valley). VENUE
Novosibirsk, The Capital of Siberia, is situated 3000 km to the East from Moscow on banks of the Ob' river. The time difference is +3 hours from Moscow time and +5 GMT.
July is the warmest season in Siberia. The day temperature is 25-30°C usually, but an umbrella may be useful in a case of bad weather.
The participants arriving at Novosibirsk airport will be provided with transportation to the hotel. Please inform us of your flight schedule to meet you at the airport. DEADLINES

REGISTRATION FEE
The full conference registration fee for ICMAR 2004 is 500 USD for participants and 200 USD for accompanying persons. It includes: the registration fee, one copy of proceedings with CD, accommodation in a single room in Zolotaya Dolina hotel for 6 nights, coffee breaks, welcome reception, excursions, etc. Payments should be made by the bank transfer to the account shown below:

Please, mention clearly your name on the payment order. The payments made before 1 May 2004 will be 450 USD for participants and 175 USD for accompanying persons respectively. It is also possible to pay the conference registration fee on site during the registration at the conference ICMAR 2004 (in cash only). Excursions and Post Conference Tours
Participants of ICMAR 2004 and accompanying persons are invited to have a trip around Russia from a selection of tours proposed below.
BAIKAL is the deepest lake on the Earth. Its surface area is equal to the area of such countries as Belgium, Netherlands or Denmark. Baikal holds twenty percent of the earth's fresh water in the world.
Tentative tour duration is 5-6 days, approximate cost is 700 USD (Novosibirsk-Irkutsk flight included).
ST. PETERSBURG is an exciting city, which has to offer more than simply the Hermitage Museum and ballet of the Mariinsky Theater. Officially proclaimed as the "Cultural Capital of Russia" St. Petersburg is a place where you need weeks just to see all its major sights.
Tentative tour duration is 5 days, approximate cost is 500 USD (Novosibirsk-St.Petersburg flight included).
TELETSKOYE lake is the largest and undoubtedly the most beautiful lake in Altai, and natives blandly call it "Golden Lake". From time immemorial the lake attracts by its mystery, beauty and natural resources. The water of the lake is exclusively clean. Tentative tour duration is 5-6 days, approximate cost is 400 USD (the trip starts from Novosibirsk).
Each tour is expected to operate if some minimum number of people in a group is reached. Certain tours will also have limited space strictly in order of receipt of bookings. That is why we would like to know your decision before March 1, 2004 to arrange the chosen tours opportunely.
Visits to facilities of the institutes of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences will be organized and some excursions and sightseeing tours around the Novosibirsk city are also planned for all comers. INSTRUCTION FOR PAPERS:
The paper camera-ready copy should be prepared in English using WORD editor and submitted to the Organizing Committee both as electronic (DOC+PDF) and hard copies. The bulk of the paper (including figures) should be up to 6 A4 pages (210x297 cm) with margins of 4.8 cm on top, 5.0 cm on bottom, and 3.7 cm on left and right. Please use Times New Roman, 10 pt., and single spacing. The paper should include the following items (see the sample):
- title page with the paper title printed bold and all caps, initials and the author' names and the title and address of the organization printed lower-case (all data centered); the names are separated by an empty line from the title and address;
- the text of the paper itself, beginning from the title page and separated by one empty line from the address (indentation of 0.8 cm);
- figures and tables located close to the point where they are cited in the text;
- references numbered in order of citation.
Figures (black-and-white only for camera-ready copy) are located within the text at the top or bottom of the printing field, close to the point of reference. Captions should be printed 9 pt.
