The ITAM SB RAS - ASTRC NCKU symposium "Study and application of nanostructured materials and microprocesses in continuum mechanics" is going to be arranged during ICMAR 2008 as well.

The abstract of the paper in English (no more than two pages including figures, references, etc.) should be e-mailed by January 15, 2008 to the address email@example.com together with the preliminary registration form. Instruction for abstracts.
Official languages of the Conference are English and Russian. Simultaneous translation will be arranged.
"The Capital of Siberia" Novosibirsk is a city of over 1.5 million people situated 3000 km to the East of Moscow on the banks of the Ob' river. The Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences is situated near Novosibirsk in Akademgorodok.
The conference is going to be arranged in Akademgorodok. There are conference halls and meeting rooms etc in "House of Science".
The end of June and beginning of July are usually very warm in Siberia. A typical day temperature is about 25...30 úC.
The time difference is +3 hours from Moscow time and +6GMT.
Every day there are many domestic and international flights to Novosibirsk. More details about the travel schedule, post conference tours, costs, and conditions will be given in the Second Announcement.
